Iron Creek was founded by James Gallagher — a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) with over 15 years of experience spanning operations, due diligence, and business development across the alternative investment landscape.

James’s career has taken him from a Fortune 500 consumer finance company to senior roles at alternative investment firms focused on hedge funds, venture capital, and real estate. As Managing Director at Lamco Alternatives Advisors / Griffin Asset Management, he helped grow the firm’s AUM to $300 million at its peak while overseeing investment operations and supporting investor relations.

Iron Creek exists to bring that same institutional-grade discipline to consulting engagements — helping fund managers, family offices, and allocators navigate the complexity of alternative investments with clarity and confidence.
